It has a unique ultra compact bridle and comes complete with the NEW Comp Stick control bar setting the performance level of the Octane at the peak.

The main thing that sets the New 2010 Slingshot Octane apart from all other kites is its huge wind-range. These kites have a larger wind-range than anything else ever introduced. Turning response is incredibly fast, even faster than the REV2, and the new bridle system on the 2010 Octane has been kept nice and compact to prevent any tangles.
Also new for 2010 is a completely new, revamped bar system. Everything that was great about the Slingshot Direct Drive bar has been kept such as the active stopper bar and CSS (Center Safety System). The 2010 Octane Control bar will feature a push away release, a above the bar swivel on the front lines, and a new super strong lock tube.
