This intensive 6 hour IKO course will take you through the basics of kitesurfing. This course an an absolute must for anyone planning on taking up kitesurfing or can act as a refresher if youve been away for a while - or simply as a taster to the worlds most exciting and environmentally friendly sport!
We supply state of the art equipment on all courses, including wetsuit, bouyancy aid, helmet and of course kite. Each course has a student instructor ratio of 4:1, with all our instructors being fully IKO certified.
the course covers the following Topics:
- Understand where and when its safe to fly
- Carry and set up the lines and kite
- Determine the wind direction and upwind and downwind (windward, leeward).
- Fly a small kite on the wind window edge and maintain it close to the ground.
- Know how to stop the kite power in case of problem by releasing the bar
- Know how to safely launch and land the kite
- Body dragging

N.B : A deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is payable on the first day of the course.
