Which Sting is right for me?
Flexifoil Sting 1.2m
Perfect introduction to 4-line kiting (handles option). Fast and extremely maneuverable, the 1.2 is a fun kite suitable for the whole family.
Flexifoil Sting 1.7m
Similar to the 1.2m but with a bit more punch! It’s better suited to teenagers and people who want to feel a bit of power but still like a fast paced kite.
Flexifoil Sting 2.4m
This kite will give you a real idea what power kiting is all about! Powerful enough for it to be exciting, not too powerful for you to feel out of control - a great kite for people looking for a bit of pull and plenty of excitement.
Flexifoil Sting 3.3m
A cross-over between a power kite and a traction kite, this kite is perfect for people who want to be dragged around. In stronger winds this kite can also be used for traction.
Bar vs. Handles
The Sting is available to buy either with 4-line control (handles) or 2-line control (bar). Both options are backed up by the Flexifoil safety system, meaning that if you need to you can simply let go (of the handles or bar) and the kite is safely depowers and falls to the ground. For most flyers we would recommend the handles option. If you are looking for a kite to help with kitesurfing training or the very young, go for the bar option.
